This year will be the first that AP Chemistry is offered in the district! We are very excited to be able to offer it and better prepare our students for the rigors of college. We will also be developing AP Chemistry for the 2011-2012 school year this year.
The AP Chemistry program was nominated for a $10,000 award through MIT! Mr. Latham will be travelling to Boston to learn more about it and is very excited to have the opportunity to bring the class next June (2011) to MIT all expenses paid! The project will be to develop a mobile biodiesel reactor that can fit into a suitcase.
