In October of 2008, with funds from Earth Day Networks, Bloom township maintenance built at 32ft x 12ft greenhouse. In the summer of 2009, we were awarded a grant from Ford Motor Funds to buy supplies and install automatic ventilation, misting system, and heat. This school year we will be opening the greenhouse for science teachers, alternative school teachers, and science club. Stay tuned for pictures and more information. |
