Bloom Theater Troupe Presents Once Upon a Mattress
Congratulations on your great performances this weekend!
Based on The Princess and the Pea. Princess Winnifred arrives at Prince Dauntless the Drab's castle hoping for the hand of the prince. His mother Queen Agravain insists that her son can only marry a princess of true blood (one who can feel a pea that is underneath a pile of matresses)...We have such a great cast:
Playing the main characters are Mary Adekale as Queen Aggravain, Marcus
Adlam as King Sextimus the Silent, Michael Johnson Jr. as Prince Dauntless,
Dominick Damiani as Sir Harry, Bianca Valdez as Lady Larkin, Amos Adekale as
Wizard, Bernard Bishop Jr. as Minstrel, and Olivia Overall as the lovable and quirky Princess Winnefred the Woebegone.
Choreography was done in great part by D'Andre Brooks.
